Terms of service

last updated 2026-07-24

These terms govern your use of the Serpital website and the free diagnostic scan. Paid early-access engagements are governed by a separate written agreement that takes precedence where the two differ.

The service

Serpital analyzes the SEO posture of a domain you submit, using publicly available information and licensed third-party data sources, and renders the result as a diagnostic report. The scan is provided free of charge and may be rate-limited, queued, or declined (for example, when a domain cannot be analyzed with sufficient evidence).

Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to overload, probe, or disrupt the service.
  • Do not resell or systematically harvest scan results.
  • Submit domains lawfully: scanning analyzes public data about a domain, and you are responsible for how you use the results.

Results are estimates

Diagnostic scores, traffic figures, and keyword data are estimates derived from third-party sources that may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Search engines change constantly. Serpital does not guarantee rankings, traffic, indexing, or any business outcome.

No financial advice

Serpital is SEO software. Nothing on this site or in a generated report is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer of any financial instrument. See the disclaimer.

Intellectual property

You retain all rights to your domain, your data, and your connected accounts. We retain all rights to the Serpital software, templates, and methodology. Third-party names and trademarks referenced on this site belong to their owners; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the same extent, Serpital's aggregate liability arising from the free service is limited to $100.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; continued use after an update is acceptance. Questions: hello@serpital.com.
